Director of Special Education has a vacancy for a 12-month Supervisor of Special Education available July 2024. Requirements: Valid PA certification of Supervisor of Special Education and/or Principal K-12. This position supports the special education staff in carrying out the District’s special education plan. The Director of Special Education provides education leadership and direction to ensure the educational programs meet the needs of students and are in accordance with state and federal laws. The Director of Special Education provides hands-on assistance and technical expertise to staff and administration. Applicants should possess strong leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, ability to problem solve, and analyze data to make instructional decisions.
